Oh my gosh, I LOVE this book! My least favorite part is probably the epilogue, but we will get to that part later!
Thoughts on the Characters:
Mare Barrow (Mareena Titantos, Little Lightning Girl, Red Queen, Little Barrow, Mare Calore): She is soooooo strong! She doesn't take no for an answer, and I absolutely LOVE the fact that she is willing to give up her own happiness for the cause. I mean, she gave up Cal, purely because she wanted equality. That takes a LOT of strength!!
Tiberias Calore VII (Cal): I admit, he did make multiple mistakes in the beginning. He fixed them and realized that he did make those mistakes. I do wish that in the epilogue, he had proposed to Mare or something. Maybe even the epilogue being their wedding? I know that they do get married and have two children in one of the novellas (which I have not read), but I wish we would have gotten a bit more in the epilogue.
Evangeline Samos (Eve): Ok, I don't really know what to think. Like Cal, she made mistakes. But she also made up for them. Her relationship with Elane is super sweet, and I get why there were troubles surrounding that.
Clara Farley-Barrow: If anybody even touches a hair on her head, they have to deal with the Scarlet Guard and the Silvers. Along with the whole Red Queen fandom. So don't do it.

Ok, in the first book Julian says "Anyone can betray anyone." right? Now I might be overthinking this, but in this book, Maven says the same thing to Mare. Is that just something that Silvers say, or is there more to it?
