Such a great book! I have read books that are good vs. evil, but never one that was built like this!!
Thoughts on the Characters:
Nova Artino: I think she is just doing the wrong thing for the right reason. I do think that it kind of sucks that her parents couldn't be saved by the Renegades. It was their job, and they didn't do it. However, that doesn't mean you become a villain. I think she joined the Anarchists because she wanted a family and something to live for. They were like a family to her. Adrian Everhart: He is an amazing person. He made the Sentinel because he wanted to help, and he didn't think the way the Renegades were doing it was right. Which he is right. I do think he doesn't appreciate his power enough though. It would be amazing to have that power. Think about it: you would never go hungry, never not have somewhere to live, never not have enough clothes! Max Everhart: No one can hurt him!!! He is precious!!!!! Don't touch my baby Max!!! I feel so bad for him. He doesn't even get to use his power for good. Favorite Quotes: "One cannot be brave who has no fear." "How can we expect people to change if we don't give them a chance to?" “There's no rule that says you have to be a prodigy to be a hero," she insisted. "If people wanted to stand up for themselves or protect their loved ones or do what they believe in their hearts is the right thing to do, then they would do it. If they wanted to be heroic, they would find ways to be heroic, even without supernatural powers.”
